Philosophy views happiness as a deep question: What does it mean to live well? Aristotle, a famous Greek philosopher, developed the idea of eudaimonia, which means human flourishing. He believed that happiness comes from living virtuously and becoming the best version of yourself. The Stoics, however, argued that happiness depends less on external things and more on inner freedom. They believed that learning to control your desires, judgments, and reactions is better than being ruled by fortune. Epicurus viewed happiness as living a calm, peaceful, and simple life, free from unnecessary fear and desire. Philosophically, happiness is less about always feeling good and more about building a meaningful, balanced, and worthy life.
